Some of these children have been in and out of more foster homes more times than you could imagine. Many of them don’t know what it’s like to feel truly loved and cared for. And frankly, that breaks our heart.

Of the original 350 volunteers, 25 helped deliver boxes, with some coming from as far afield as Toronto, Vancouver and Florida. All of us shared one common goal: to put a smile on these children’s faces.

We had a huge pizza party with the kids and had a blast getting to know them all.
