We had an amazing opportunity to join forces with 350 entrepreneurs to pack boxes for 500 kids living in long-term foster care in Chicago, IL.

Some of these children have been in and out of more foster homes more times than you could imagine. Many of them don’t know what it’s like to feel truly loved and cared for. And frankly, that breaks our heart.

Of the original 350 volunteers, 25 helped deliver boxes, with some coming from as far afield as Toronto, Vancouver and Florida. All of us shared one common goal: to put a smile on these children’s faces.

We had a huge pizza party with the kids and had a blast getting to know them all.

You can read more about our trip in Denise’s article for Medium.com: “A True Tale of No Child Left Behind . . . Helping Older Children in Foster Care Know They Matter.”

Let us show you how to obtain your share of $200 Million dollars next year and keep it.

Non-profits reap a 6-to-1 return on every dollar spent on volunteer development. Plus, engaged volunteers become reliable supportive donors and are less critical of an organization’s overhead expenses. Volunteers and donors are smart, they know it takes money to run an organization, to provide a service. When you let them help you, they bond to your mission and become evangelists for your cause.

We challenge you to rethink your capital campaign this year and let us help you design a better way to capture and retain your share of the vast pool of resources your volunteers and donors have to offer.

Read more about this in Denise’s article “Let My People Serve”
